​Membership Categories

Certified
CASC/ACSS members are certified in the categories of Spiritual Care Practitioner, Psychospiritual Therapist, Spiritual Care Supervisor-Educator and Psychospiritual Therapist Supervisor-Educator.
$395.00/year (with optional insurance $257 = $652)
Qualifying
​Includes those who have completed their SPE education (Basic and Advanced units) and are in the process of preparing and qualifying for CASC/ACSS Certification as a Spiritual Care Practitioner or Psycho-Spiritual Therapist. 
$285/year (with optional insurance $257 = $542)
Associate
Any person who wishes to support CASC/ACSS  and receive the benefits of membership. Associate Members range from those having no CASC/ACSS training to those having multiple Advanced Units.

Student
Student Members must be a CASC/ACSS student and enrolled in a basic or advanced unit of Supervised Psychospiritual Education (SPE)  in either the CPE or PTE stream. 
​$90/year (with optional insurance $130 = $220)
Emeritus certified
A member who has completely ceased:
  • Earning remuneration from spiritual care activities full-time, part-time or on contract, and
  • Utilizing their certification as a Spiritual Care Practitioner, Psychospiritual Therapist, Spiritual Care Supervisor-Educator or Psychospiritual Therapist Supervisor-Educator. 
  • If you were a Certified Member and recently retired, you are welcome to continue as an Emeritus Certified Member at no charge.

Emeritus
A member who has completely ceased to earn remuneration from spiritual care activities full-time, part-time or on contract, or currently volunteers providing spiritual health services in their community.
