Being a member with CASC/ACSS gives you access to comprehensive liability insurance. We make every effort to keep these rates as low as possible – with the best coverage. We offer an affordable “Group Insurance Program” for CASC/ACSS Members consisting of Professional Liability and Commercial General (Third Party) Liability. This year we are also pleased to expand our insurance coverage to include the option of Property Insurance protection. 

CASC/ACSS does not accept responsibility or liability for any actions or misconduct of any Member. Each Spiritual Care Practitioner, Psychospiritual Therapist, or any other Member of CASC/ACSS in the practice of professional spiritual care or professional counselling should consider the value of both Professional Liability and General Liability Insurance.

A lawsuit, whether justified or not, could drain the financial resources of your spiritual care or counselling practice. Individual misconduct is the sole responsibility of the Spiritual Care Practitioner, Psychospiritual Therapist, or Member of CASC/ACSS. Membership does not, in any way, imply culpability or liability on the part of CASC/ACSS for any individual’s misconduct, unethical behaviour or criminal actions.

Coverage is available to Associate Members, Certified Members and Student Members.
