​Ottawa’s leading luxury hotel & resort getaway is the host hotel for the CASC/ACSS National Conference 2026!
Brookstreet Hotel offers award-winning dining, spa facilities, golf, luxurious guest rooms, and a modern conference centre, with scenic views located just west of Ottawa city limits. You can expect outstanding dining, luxurious accommodation, and a restful atmosphere during the national conference this year.


A dedicated room block has been secured for conference attendees, with preferred pricing and a selection of room types available:
  • King Room - oversized windows that open into fresh air with plenty of space and a premium king-sized bed - $229 CAD per night + applicable taxes
  • Double Queen Room - generous space and large windows with two luxurious queen beds - $229 CAD per night + applicable taxes
  • Deluxe Golf View Room - featuring breathtaking views overlooking the Marshes Golf Course - $279 CAD per night + applicable taxes.

Booking details, including the reservation link and instructions, will be provided only after conference registration is complete.
 This ensures that rooms in the block are used exclusively by registered attendees. Registration opens in January 2026.

Schedule

Onsite Registration and Welcome opens at 3:00 pm EST on Sunday April 26th, followed by the opening reception at 5:00 pm EST. 
The conference ends at 4:00 pm on Tuesday April 28th. The full schedule will be released in January 2026. 

Fees

CASC/ACSS Members (Certified, Qualifying, Associate)
$675 CAD – Early Bird rate in effect from January 14, 2026, to February 13, 2026
$795 CAD – Regular Rate is in effect from February 14, 2026, to April 8, 2026 (or earlier as space fills up)

CASC/ACSS Members (Emeritus)
$595 CAD – pricing is in effect from January 14, 2026, to April 8, 2026

Post-Secondary Students
The conference is open to all students - including student members. CASC/ACSS Membership isn’t required, but a valid Canadian post-secondary email address is required at registration (additional documentation/proof of enrolment may be requested).
$595 CAD – pricing is in effect from January 14, 2026, to April 8, 2026

Non-Members
CASC/ACSS membership is not required to attend the national conference. All professionals with an interest in this conference are welcome.
$845 CAD – Early Bird rate in effect from January 14, 2026, to February 13, 2026

Call for workshop abstracts

We are excited to invite you to submit your proposals for workshops at the 2026 CASC/ACSS National Conference. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise, innovative practices, and cutting-edge research with colleagues from across the country. Please submit topics that centre around the conference theme, "Thresholds of Transformation: Spiritual Health in the Age of Innovation." We look forward to receiving your compelling proposals and making the 2026 conference an engaging and informative experience!

  • Eco-Spirituality for the Climate Crisis: Innovative spiritual responses and practices that reconnect humanity with the environment in the face of ecological change.
  • Innovation, Equity, and Access to Care: How to leverage technology and new frameworks to ensure diverse populations have access to quality spiritual health resources and support.
  • Innovations in Grief Work: Utilizing digital memorials, AI companions, or other emergent technologies to navigate loss and meaning-making in the modern age.
  • The Future of Community: Building and sustaining authentic, spiritually-nourishing community in an era of dispersed, online-first connections.

Call for poster presentations

Research is the fuel that drives progress. At CASC/ACSS celebrating your research is important to our overall mission and vision. We know that many of you are implicated in critical areas of research that advance the professions of spiritual care and psychospiritual therapy. We are therefore pleased to invite your submissions for poster presentations, to be featured at the national conference. Submissions across the full spectrum of spiritual health, spiritual care, and psychospiritual therapy are welcome.
